Cloud-like eggplant, 4 generations of hummus, a house of shells, the etrog man, experts’ lachoch, and shawarma that’s definitely not Turkish – all these are embedded in an uniquely rich tour built and designed based on recommendations and secrets from neighborhood residents and stand owners themselves.
When? With whom? What’s the next stop? That’s for you to decide.

How does it work?
The tour operates through a smart WhatsApp chatbot where you’ll meet Giraffe’s special guide who will accompany, explain, navigate, and of course – pay for you. From the moment of purchase, you’ll have 6 months to take the tour anytime without need for coordination, just arrive at the market hungry on your own time and progress at your own pace. What does the tour include?
6 (!) food and drink stops with choices between various dishes and different businesses, accommodations for gluten-sensitive, vegans, and certified kosher. Is that all? Not at all: there are also routes, navigation and guidance, tours and videos, points of interest, and even shopping benefits at the market’s best businesses.

Note ❤️- The tour operates through one phone device but it’s for two! At each stop, you’ll receive 2 personal portions or one large portion to share.

*In each category, only one option can be redeemed for both participants.

Is it kosher?
In one word: yes!

In more words: at each stop there’s at least one certified kosher business.

*All other businesses are kosher without certification: they don’t sell/serve non-kosher food and are closed on Shabbat.

Gluten-free / Vegan?
At each stop there’s at least one gluten-free / vegan option marked with dedicated emojis. Choosing a vegan/gluten-free option applies to both tour participants. However, at some businesses where you receive 2 personal portions, you can get one regular and one gluten-free/vegan, and for sharing portions, you can request the “gluten” on the side.

Q&A-

Is food included in the price? The tour cost includes everything! (Yes yes, including the food)
Will the tour go through one phone? Yes. One couple’s tour (1 couple ticket) goes through one device.
What if we don’t manage with the chatbot? No problem at all 🙂 You’ll be accompanied throughout the entire tour by human customer service with speed you haven’t experienced before
What if we don’t like sharing a dish? Don’t worry! On the tour you’ll receive details in advance about each business, what you get to eat there, and whether they serve one dish to share or 2 individual portions.
How long is the tour? The tour length depends on you – the fastest will manage to finish within an hour and a half.
We started the tour and had to leave in the middle, what do we do? Feel free to take your time: from the moment you start, you’ll have 72 hours to complete all the stations.
6 months have passed since purchase, is it lost? Not at all. Extending the tour validity for 3 more months costs only 35 NIS.
Is the tour filling? The tour ranges from filling to bursting. Don’t plan a restaurant after!
We want to go out as 3 people, can we buy a single ticket? Unfortunately that’s not possible. In the case of 3 participants we recommend buying 2 couple tickets and eating more or simply taking it home! Blessed be the takeaway.
What should we bring anyway? Headphones + a personal water bottle and you’re all set.
Where to park? “Hakramelit” parking lot – 1 HaCarmel Alley.
Want to go out with 4 couples or more together? No problem, we just ask that you coordinate with us beforehand on WhatsApp so we can update the vendors in advance.

Hours when you can start the tour:
Sunday-Thursday: 10:00 – 16:00
Friday: 09:30 – 14:00

Sunday – Thursday most businesses in the market begin closing from 16:30
*We recommend starting the tour no later than 15:00.
On Friday the market is more crowded so expect longer than usual waiting times. Most businesses begin closing from 14:30. *We recommend starting the tour no later than 13:00.
